Set high in the Vancouver clouds, Ashley wanted to transform a bedroom in her condo into a walk-in closet so she could get rid of the rolling racks and boxes she had been using. While displaying her treasured handbag collection was one of her dreams for the space, the overall inspiration actually came from a closet she saw in a previous issue of Ideas of Order. Designed around the room’s unconventional angles, Ashley’s walk-in covers three separate walls and overlays the tropical palm frond wallpaper that reminds her of her Californian roots.
